Professional Wood Staining & Sealing

Protect and beautify your decks, fences, and outdoor wood structures with our expert staining and sealing services

Why Wood Staining & Sealing is Essential

Wood is a beautiful, natural material, but without proper protection, it's vulnerable to California's intense sun, rain, and temperature changes. Professional staining and sealing creates a protective barrier that:

UV Protection

Prevents sun damage, graying, and wood degradation

Water Resistance

Repels moisture to prevent rot, warping, and splitting

Extended Lifespan

Doubles or triples the life of your wood structures

Enhanced Beauty

Brings out natural grain and adds rich color

Our Professional Process
1

Inspection & Preparation

We inspect your wood for damage, clean all surfaces thoroughly, and sand or strip old stain/sealant as needed. Proper prep is 80% of a quality finish.

2

Wood Cleaning & Brightening

We use specialized cleaners to remove dirt, mildew, and gray oxidation. Wood brighteners restore the natural color and open the wood grain for optimal stain absorption.

3

Stain/Sealer Application

Using professional-grade products, we apply stain or sealer in even coats. We offer transparent, semi-transparent, and solid color options to match your aesthetic.

4

Drying & Final Inspection

We allow proper drying time (24-48 hours depending on weather) and conduct a final quality inspection to ensure complete, even coverage.

Important Considerations

Timing Matters: Best results come from staining in dry weather with temperatures between 50-90°F. We don't recommend staining in direct sunlight or right before rain.

Maintenance Schedule: Most stains/sealers last 2-4 years depending on sun exposure and traffic. We recommend re-sealing every 2-3 years to maintain optimal protection.

Product Selection: We use oil-based and water-based products depending on your wood type and desired finish. Our team will recommend the best option for your specific project.
